Public research standard

Separate the claim from the state.

Quiet Stance is designed to make important change easier to inspect. The public layer distinguishes what was observed, what is supported, what changed, and what remains unresolved.

Five layers

01

Observe

Record a public fact, document, announcement, project state or other explicit observation.

02

Support

Attach dated evidence and provenance so the reader can inspect the basis for a state.

03

Normalize

Separate headline claims from dependencies, usable state, uncertainty and unknowns.

04

Trace

Connect projects, entities and dependencies so a single fact can be understood in context.

05

Update

Change the public state when a new dated observation is verified, rather than silently rewriting history.

Evidence posture

Public intelligence is intentionally conservative. A headline number may be easy to quote and still leave material dependencies unresolved. Quiet Stance surfaces those dependencies instead of compressing them into a single confidence label.

What the public layer does not claim

It does not certify physical assets, guarantee future delivery, provide investment advice, or imply information beyond the dated record presented on each page.

Useful next step

For a live decision

Start with the public record, then request a deeper brief when the decision needs more context, comparison or monitoring.
